JUNROS Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of the JUNROS mobile application and its related services (“JUNROS” or the “Service”) outside Japan. JUNROS is provided by Coyote and Powell LLC, a company organized under the laws of Japan (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms apply if and when JUNROS is made available through an App Store storefront outside Japan. Publication of these Terms does not mean that JUNROS is currently available in every country or region.

If you obtain or use JUNROS through the Japan App Store storefront, the Japanese Terms of Service apply instead.

1. Acceptance

You must affirmatively agree to these Terms before creating an account. Merely browsing a legal page or continuing to use JUNROS does not by itself constitute acceptance of a materially revised version of these Terms where applicable law requires renewed consent.

You must also review our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use JUNROS.

If you are under the age at which you may independently enter into a contract in your country or region, you may use JUNROS only with the authorization of your parent or legal guardian.

JUNROS is not directed to children under 13. You may not create an account for a child under 13.

3. Accounts

An account and a valid email address or supported third-party sign-in method are required.

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You may not share, sell, transfer, or allow another person to use your account.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account except to the extent caused by our failure to exercise reasonable care.

4. What JUNROS Does

JUNROS lets you scan or upload supported travel reservation documents and organize extracted information into journeys and steps.

Optical character recognition and artificial intelligence may extract information such as dates, times, flight or train numbers, locations, names, and booking references.

AI-generated or extracted results may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Before travelling or making a payment or other important decision, check the original document and current information from the relevant carrier, accommodation provider, government authority, or other official source.

JUNROS is not a travel agent, carrier, accommodation provider, immigration adviser, legal adviser, medical service, or emergency service.

Travel-entry information may depend on your passport-issuing country, destination, transit points, purpose and duration of travel, and personal circumstances. It is provided only as general reference information.

5. AI Processing

When you choose to use AI reading, the selected image or PDF is transmitted through our server infrastructure to Anthropic in the United States for extraction.

Before the first such transmission, JUNROS will identify the recipient, the information transmitted, the purpose, the country of processing, and the applicable retention period, and will request your explicit permission.

If you do not permit this transmission, do not use AI reading. You may enter itinerary information manually where that option is available.

Do not upload medical records, health information, national identification numbers, tax identifiers, financial account information, or identity documents unless JUNROS expressly identifies the document type as supported.

6. User Content

You retain your rights in documents, images, itineraries, notes, and other content you submit (“User Content”).

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, convert, display, back up, and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably necessary to:

provide the features you request;
maintain and secure JUNROS;
comply with law; and
respond to a support request you initiate.

This license ends when the relevant User Content is deleted, except for limited residual copies in backups, security records, or records we must retain by law.

We do not acquire ownership of User Content and do not authorize its use for advertising.

You must have the necessary authority to upload information concerning companions or other persons.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

use JUNROS unlawfully or fraudulently;
upload information you are not authorized to process;
upload medical records, government identification numbers, tax records, financial account credentials, malware, or content unrelated to JUNROS’s travel-organizing purpose;
use another person’s booking credentials without authorization;
interfere with authentication, security, servers, APIs, usage limits, or normal operation;
scrape, crawl, probe, reverse engineer, or automate access except where mandatory law expressly permits it;
use JUNROS for bulk document analysis or to build a database concerning other persons;
infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; or
encourage another person to do any of the above.

8. Free Plan and JUNROS Pro

The Free Plan includes up to 5 AI reads per calendar month.

JUNROS Pro includes up to 50 AI reads during each one-month subscription period.

Unused reads do not carry over to a later period. The applicable counter resets at the beginning of the relevant Free Plan month or Pro subscription period.

JUNROS Pro is an automatically renewing subscription purchased solely through Apple’s in-app purchase system. We do not receive or store your complete payment-card or bank-account information.

Before purchase, the paywall and Apple purchase sheet display the localized price, billing period, included entitlement, renewal terms, and applicable taxes.

9. Renewal and Cancellation

JUNROS Pro renews for successive one-month periods unless you cancel it before Apple processes the next renewal.

The renewal date shown by Apple controls. We do not impose a separate “24 hours before renewal” contractual deadline.

You can manage or cancel the subscription through:

After cancellation, Pro normally remains available until the end of the period already paid for. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not ordinarily reverse a completed charge.

Deleting your JUNROS account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel the subscription separately before deleting your account if you do not want it to renew.

10. Refunds and Mandatory Cancellation Rights

Apple processes subscription charges and ordinary refund requests. You may request a refund through https://reportaproblem.apple.com/.

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, we do not provide partial refunds or credits for unused time or unused AI reads.

Nothing in these Terms restricts a cancellation, cooling-off, refund, repair, replacement, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. If Apple does not provide a remedy that applicable law requires us to provide, contact us.

11. Price Changes

Prices may differ by storefront, currency, and applicable tax. The controlling price is the localized price shown by Apple before you confirm the purchase.

A price displayed on our website or in descriptive text is informational. Apple’s purchase sheet shows the amount that will actually be charged.

Subscription price changes are implemented through Apple’s system and take effect only in accordance with Apple’s procedures and applicable law, including any notice or renewed consent that may be required.

12. External Services and Links

JUNROS relies on third-party services for functions such as hosting, authentication, AI processing, email delivery, subscription management, and payment.

JUNROS may also open maps, search results, carrier sites, accommodation sites, weather pages, or government pages selected by you. A search URL may contain a flight number or place name so that the requested search can be performed.

External services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Check the destination before entering booking references, names, credentials, or payment information.

13. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion from JUNROS’s account settings.

Account deletion removes account-linked information from our active systems in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Limited information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or transaction records.

Account deletion is irreversible and does not cancel an Apple subscription.

14. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, protect users or systems, comply with law, or address a material breach of these Terms.

Where practicable and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue before permanent termination.

If we discontinue a paid feature during an active subscription period, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law and the applicable Apple procedures.

15. Intellectual Property

JUNROS’s software, design, branding, text, and other materials, excluding User Content, are owned by us or our licensors.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use JUNROS in accordance with these Terms and the applicable Apple usage rules.

16. Disclaimers and Consumer Guarantees

We provide JUNROS with reasonable care and skill. Nevertheless, AI output, travel information, external links, and third-party data may contain errors or become unavailable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JUNROS is provided without warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.

This section does not exclude statutory guarantees, warranties, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

17. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the preceding paragraph and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable;
we are not responsible for changes, errors, or failures originating in an external service outside our reasonable control; and
our aggregate liability arising from a paid subscription is limited to the subscription fees paid for JUNROS during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not reduce any non-excludable statutory right.

18. Apple-Specific Terms

These Terms are between you and the Company, not Apple.

The Company, not Apple, is responsible for JUNROS, its content, maintenance, support, and claims relating to JUNROS, subject to applicable law.

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for JUNROS.

You must comply with the App Store usage rules and applicable third-party terms.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States government embargo and are not listed on a United States government prohibited or restricted-party list.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section and may enforce it against you.

19. Changes to JUNROS or These Terms

We may make reasonable changes to JUNROS or these Terms to reflect legal requirements, security needs, technical changes, new or discontinued features, or changes that benefit users.

We will identify the updated date and provide reasonable advance notice of a material adverse change unless urgent legal or security circumstances make advance notice impracticable.

Where applicable law requires affirmative consent to a change, the change will not apply to you until that consent is obtained.

Changes to price or subscription renewal are also subject to Apple’s procedures and applicable law.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

This choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory protections available under the law of your habitual residence.

Courts in Tokyo, Japan have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right to bring or defend proceedings in another competent court.

These Terms do not require arbitration and do not waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative proceeding where such a waiver would require separate legal review or consent.
